 Northwest Ohio Dance Club, Toledo’s premier dancing community,  has finished its activities with the farewell dance on March 7th 2015.

Thanks to all who attended and supported the club thought the years.

Purpose: The Northwest Ohio Dance Club is dedicated to the promotion of social dancing, including swing, hustle, ballroom, latin, country western and line dancing for the entertainment, fellowship and interest of the constituent members.

NWODC Club History
The club was formed in January & February, 2010 by Don & Cindy Carsten, John Ricketts, Betty Nungester, Diana & Bill Hostetler, Carol Ann Howell, Lana Staley, Belinda Cytlak, Mike & Janet Koepplinger and Janet Frederick.

During that time NWODC was named, by-laws written, and the first dance was scheduled and carried out. The opening night was held at the Toledo Yacht Club, February 20, 2010. Betty Nungester and Bill Hostetler taught an optional West Coast Swing lesson from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and open dancing was held from 8:00 p.m. to Midnight.

There were 122 in attendance with 70 dancers joining NWODC that evening.
